Nimits

Terms & conditions

Version 1.0 · effective 3 September 2026

The short version: Nimits is a reminder tool, your data is yours, and it must not be the only thing standing between you and something you cannot afford to miss.

What Nimits is not

Nimits is a reminder tool and nothing more. It reminds you of a schedule you entered yourself. It does not check what you entered, does not verify that it is correct or safe, and does not give professional advice of any kind. For that, ask someone qualified.

No guarantee of delivery

Reminders depend on the operating system. Battery optimisation, a force-stop, a powered-off phone, a system update or your phone maker’s own background manager can delay or prevent an alarm. Do not rely on Nimits as your only safeguard for something that must not be missed.

Your content

Your reminders and your history are yours. We claim no licence over them, and because they never leave your device we cannot read them.

Acceptable use

Do not resell the app, remove its notices, or modify it to strip the disclaimers above.

Liability

Nimits is provided as it is, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a reminder that is missed or late, or for any loss that follows from one. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction.
