A reminder app with no account, that works offline

It rings in aeroplane mode

Nothing between the time you set and the ring needs a connection. A reminder rings on a plane, on a train with no signal, or with mobile data switched off, exactly as it would at home.

No account to make

Open the app and set a reminder. There is no email to give, no password to forget and no account to delete later.

The other side of that: Nimits lives on one phone. It does not sync to a computer or share a list with someone else. If you need that, a list app tied to an account is the better choice.

Moving to a new phone

Back up your reminders and their history to a file, by hand or every week, and restore it on the new phone. The file goes where you choose.

What the app itself sends

Nimits sends crash reports and basic app-usage statistics so faults can be fixed. They are tied to a random ID, and never carry the name, time or content of any reminder.

Speak a reminder uses your phone’s own speech service. With its offline English installed, which most phones with Google services have, that happens on this phone.

No ads

There is no advertising in Nimits, and it does not sell or share your reminders, because it never receives them.
