A plant watering reminder that waits for an answer
Plants do not all want water on the same day, and none of them can ask. Nimits rings when one is due and, unless you choose otherwise, keeps ringing until you complete it or skip it.
Every few days, not every day
Choose Every day and set Every to 3 days, or Weekly for the slow drinkers. Each plant, or each shelf, can be its own reminder with its own rhythm.
One round, several stops
Watering the house is often one job in several places. Put it in one task with sub-tasks, the kitchen, the balcony, the hanging basket, each at its own time, and each rings in turn.
Rained today? Skip it
Skip records that you decided not to, and it is left out of your figures rather than counted as a miss. The next one rings on schedule.
Gentle, if it does not need to insist
A plant will usually forgive an hour. Set its reminder to Gentle and it nudges twice, then marks itself missed, instead of ringing every five minutes.
Feeding and repotting
Monthly and yearly reminders cover the rest: a feed every 4 weeks, repotting each spring, bringing the pots in before the first frost.
